Day 77: Drought

Karis has a project due tomorrow and true to form, we waited until the last minute to do it. They are studying weather in her class and they got to choose from several severe types of weather to do a report. She chose drought. Why not tornados or hurricanes? Anyway, it was hard to keep her from drawing all over the posterboard before she had a plan in mind. If I had let her she would have drawn all kinds of pictures on there, none of which had anything to do with drought. Maybe next time I'll get two pieces of posterboard - one for her to go wild on and one for the actual project. I thought it turned out very colorful!

  1. Isn't it hard to help with school projects. You want to let them take the lead but trying to keep it going in the right direction is tough!! It looks like a great poster.

  2. That looks like a great poster! How fun to capture this memory. I don't have anything like this recorded from my school days and its so fun to know that our kids will have so much more of their events captured!

  3. Ooh drought is a hard one! not quite as exciting as something stormy, but it looks like she's doing a fantastic job!
